Vegan Basil Pesto

Serves: 1 cup
Vegan!

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup Smoked almonds
1/3 cup Pistachios (Shelled, lightly salted, and roasted)
1/4 cup Unsweetened green tea
2 large Cloves of garlic
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Lemon zest
1/4 cup Olive oil

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Put the basil, almonds, pistachios, green tea, garlic, salt, and lemon zest into a food processor. Pulse a few times
  2. Drizzle in the olive oil while pureeing and continue to process until the mixture has been made into a chunky pesto
  3. Season to taste, then use as desired.
